Welcome! We are The Sheplers.


The story is a long one, so we won’t bore you with the details, but suffice it to say the pictures above are of our little missionary family.

In early 2021 we heard the Lord ask us to sell everything and become full-time missionaries.

And thats what we did.

(We should note that Greg started his missionary journey in 2016 prior to getting married to Caroline - which is where the love for Papua New Guinea comes from)

Now that we’re married and Ellis is old enough to explore the world, it was time to test the waters; “are we ready to become a missionary family?”

The first step: a Discipleship Training School (DTS) with Youth With A Mission (YWAM), in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii.

The end goal: to become long-term missionaries in Melanesia, primarily Papua New Guinea.

The steps in between: We have no idea. And thats what this site is about.

We invite you to follow our families “Yes” to the Lord. Our hope is that you will be encouraged to examine your own “Yes” to God, and stretch yourself into using it wisely. We don’t promise we’ll always have it right, but we will always be honest and open about this journey of ours. So here’s to Loving God, and Loving Others. Welcome aboard.
